Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Consultant in Austin to coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies for a department that drives occupancy and revenue. You will guide prospective residents through tours, process applications, prepare leases, and ensure a smooth move‑in.

You will also monitor market conditions and implement short‑ and long‑term marketing plans to boost occupancy. The role requires on‑site work with the ability to respond to resident inquiries, coordinate with maintenance,

Qualifications

• Incumbents must have valid driver’s license
• Able to stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods
• Flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Performs all sales and leasing activities to achieve revenue and occupancy goals by greeting and qualifying prospects, conducting tours, showing apartments, processing applications and leases.
• Inspects apartments prior to move‑in and ensures they are move‑in ready; coordinates maintenance as needed.
• Develops and implements marketing plans to sustain occupancy; follows policies on concessions and programs to boost occupancy.
• Designs and executes marketing activities to drive traffic to the community using Craigslist, Facebook, email, and other sites.
