Harbor Group Management is seeking a Leasing Specialist to drive occupancy at a multifamily community. Responsibilities include showing apartments, processing applications, coordinating marketing, and assisting the Property Manager to ensure a positive living experience and strong financial performance.

The role requires leasing or customer service experience, proficiency with MS Office and property management software, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of experience in leasing, sales, or customer service; property management experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; property management software experience required.
• Experience with social media (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) is a plus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects, conduct tours, and showcase available apartments and amenities.
• Qualify leads, process applications, run background and credit checks, and prepare lease documents.
• Ensure units are move-in ready by coordinating with maintenance.
• Execute lease agreements and move-in packages for a smooth onboarding.
• Develop and implement marketing plans to drive traffic and occupancy.
• Promote the community via digital platforms (Craigslist, social media, email).
• Coordinate resident referrals and local networking efforts.
• Stay informed about market conditions, rental rates, and trends.
