Job summary

Franklin Group is seeking a Leasing Consultant responsible for showing and leasing apartments and supporting the community's marketing plan. You will assist applicants, prepare models for showings, and maintain professional business standards.

Strong knowledge of lease terms, sales techniques, Fair Housing, and HUD/LIHTC experience is preferred. Certifications and ongoing training are emphasized, with an emphasis on resident retention and accurate administrative handling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• HUD & LIHTC experience is highly preferred.
• Fair Housing Certification required within 14 days; training on harassment and drug-free workplace within stated timelines.
• CAM or RAM designations are highly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Assist applicants with rental applications and collect deposits.
• Prepare model and target apartments for show; maintain clean, orderly work areas.
• Know lease terms, policies, and current rental rates; maintain knowledge of community amenities.
• Maintain contact with apartment locator services and local businesses for informational materials.
• Develop and maintain resident retention programs and proper resident/files management.
• Process administrative forms, reports and related information in a timely manner.
