Job summary

Franklin Group is seeking a Leasing Consultant to show and lease apartments and support the community's marketing plan. You will assist applicants with rental applications, collect deposits, and maintain ready-to-show model and target apartments.

Knowledge of lease terms, sales techniques, Fair Housing standards, and strong customer service is required. You will interact with locator services and vendors, and contribute to resident retention under supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively and deliver customer service in a sales environment.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing standards.

Responsibilities

• Show and lease apartments to prospective residents and support the community's marketing plan.
• Assist applicants in completing rental applications and collect security deposits.
• Ensure model and target apartments are ready for show and maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Maintain knowledge of lease terms, rates, locations, and amenities.
• Engage with apartment locator services and local businesses to provide informational material.
• Develop and maintain an ongoing resident retention program under the Community Manager.
• Process administrative forms, reports, and related information in a timely manner.
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances to the Community Manager.
