Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Coordinator to manage marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies for a 278-unit mid-rise community. Responsibilities include tours, applications, screening, and move-in coordination, with a focus on occupancy and revenue goals.

The role requires daily inspections, market awareness, and execution of marketing plans using online platforms. Strong operations, communication, and software skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Coordinate leasing activities and drive occupancy goals.
• Support marketing plans and pricing to maximize occupancy and revenue.
• Operate property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability and data.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, show apartments, process applications, perform credit and background checks, prepare lease packages, and ensure smooth move-ins.
• Inspect apartments prior to move-in and coordinate maintenance items to readiness.
• Stay informed on market conditions to develop short- and long-term marketing plans and goals to sustain occupancy.
• Design and execute marketing activities to drive traffic, including Craigslist, Facebook, email, and other sites.
• Maintain show units to company standards and ensure a visually appealing leasing office and model.
• Follow up with prospects and new residents to finalize leases and renewals.
• Prepare lease renewal letters and packages, and manage renewal scheduling to ensure timely signings.
