Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Leasing Specialist to drive occupancy and resident satisfaction in a multifamily community. You will show and lease apartments, coordinate marketing initiatives, and support the Property Manager in daily operations to ensure strong financial performance.

You will qualify leads, process applications, perform background checks, and prepare lease documents, while maintaining up-to-date property records and promoting the community on social media.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year leasing, sales, or customer service experience; property management experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; property management software experience required.
• Experience with social media (Facebook, Instagram) preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; detail-oriented and able to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects, conduct property tours, and showcase apartments and amenities.
• Qualify leads, process applications, run background and credit checks, and prepare leases.
• Ensure units are move-in ready and coordinate with maintenance for repairs.
• Execute lease agreements and move-in packages; support onboarding.
• Develop marketing plans to drive traffic and maintain occupancy.
• Promote the community via digital platforms and email campaigns.
• Maintain records in property management software and follow up with leads.
• Assist with rent collection and delinquent accounts as needed.
• Ensure leasing office and tour path meet show standards.
