Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Consultant for our Scottsdale community to coordinate marketing, leasing and renewal strategies. You will conduct tours, process applications, screen credit and background, prepare leases and move-in packages, and ensure a smooth resident experience from start to finish.

You will stay informed about market conditions, implement marketing plans to sustain occupancy, manage show units, support lease renewals, and respond promptly to resident questions to maximize

Responsibilities

• Performs all sales and leasing activities to achieve revenue and occupancy goals by greeting and qualifying prospects, conducting tours and showing apartments, processing applications, credit screening, and background checks, preparing the lease and move-in package, and ensuring a smooth move-in and lease signing.
• Inspects apartments prior to resident move-in and ensures move-in ready condition, scheduling maintenance as needed.
• Stays informed about market conditions and competitors, developing short- and long-term marketing plans to sustain occupancy.
• Implements marketing activities to drive traffic, including referral programs and online outreach via internet tools and websites.
• Uses on-site property management software to track availability, leasing activity, and resident data.
• Ensures show units meet company standards, coordinates maintenance needs, merchandises spaces, and prepares leasing office for daily activities.
• Follows up with prospects and residents to ensure satisfaction and finalize lease renewals as needed.
• Supports lease renewal by preparing renewal letters/packages and contacting renewing residents ahead of move-out dates.
