Job summary

2B Residential is seeking a Leasing Consultant for Mila - Ellisville, MO. The role focuses on achieving occupancy goals while delivering an exceptional resident experience. You will greet prospects, tour properties, manage move-ins, handle communications, and maintain records via Yardi.

The position requires strong communication, customer service mindset, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver’s license and transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Previous leasing experience (preferred).
• Residential leasing experience and Yardi experience (preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional customer service mindset.
• Self-motivated, organized, and detail oriented.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and professional demeanor.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and host tours for prospects, follow up of guest cards.
• Ensure model apartments are in touring condition, cleanliness, safety and stocking move-in gifts and snacks accordingly.
• Answer and distribute incoming calls and messages throughout day.
• Receive and distribute all incoming mail.
• Occasionally assist with planning and hosting after hours resident events.
• Assist in preparation of move-in folders, and maintain business center, coffee bar and pet bar.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of traffic activity by entering applicable information into Yardi.
• Convert phone traffic into scheduled appointments with prospective residents in order to tour the community.
• Ensure excellent customer service to prospective and current tenants, and promote a quality living experience for all residents.
• Inspect apartments prior to resident move-ins and coordinate move-in/out needs with maintenance team.
• Create and maintain confidential resident files, reviewing move-in paperwork with new residents.
• Ensure all open and close procedures are completed daily.
• Assist with ongoing resident relations throughout occupant's tenancy by responding to requests promptly.
• Responsible for shopping competitive properties and pursuing marketing opportunities downtown.
• Assist with processing work order requests for residents and ensure work is completed in a timely manner.
• Occasionally assist with planning and hosting after hours resident events.
• Participate in company training such as fair housing, safety, non-discrimination, and harassment prevention.
• Comply with all company standards, health and safety rules and regulations, as well as local, state, and federal laws.
