Harbor Group Management Company in Augusta, GA is seeking a Leasing Specialist to drive occupancy and resident satisfaction within a multifamily community. The role involves showing apartments, processing applications, and supporting the Property Manager to ensure a positive living experience and strong financial performance.

You will coordinate marketing initiatives, maintain guest records in Yardi or OneSite, and assist with rent collection and renewals while delivering excellent customer

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in leasing, sales, or customer service is preferred.
• Property management experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents, conduct property tours, and showcase available apartments and amenities.
• Qualify leads, process rental applications, run background and credit checks, and prepare lease documents.
• Ensure units are move-in ready by inspecting them before occupancy and coordinating with maintenance.
• Execute lease agreements and move-in packages, ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
• Design and implement short- and long-term marketing plans to generate traffic and maintain occupancy.
• Promote the community on digital platforms such as Craigslist, Facebook, and email campaigns.
• Coordinate resident referrals, employer outreach, and local networking.
• Maintain knowledge of market conditions, rental rates and trends.
• Support resident retention with excellent customer service and timely responses.
• Conduct follow-up communication with prospects and new residents to ensure satisfaction.
• Participate in lease renewals and finalize extensions.
• Maintain records of interactions using property management software (e.g., Yardi, OneSite).
• Assist with rent collection and delinquent accounts; support admin tasks as assigned.
• Ensure leasing office and tour path presentable and aligned with show standards.
