Job summary

Greystar in New York seeks a temporary Leasing Specialist to coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies for a 300-unit garden-style community. You will lead leasing to new residents, ensure resident satisfaction, and drive lease renewals.

You will greet prospects, conduct tours, process applications, screen credits, prepare leases, and manage move-ins. This role requires on-site presence with some evenings, weekends, and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating leasing, marketing and renewal strategies for multifamily communities.
• Ability to greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, and process applications.
• Strong understanding of leasing lifecycle including credit checks and move-in.
• Proven ability to drive occupancy and resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform sales and leasing activities to meet revenue and occupancy goals.
• Inspect units and ensure move-in readiness and smooth signings.
• Develop and implement marketing plans to sustain occupancy.
• Drive traffic using online marketing, referrals, and outreach programs.
• Use property software to track availability and leasing data.
• Ensure show units meet quality standards and prepare the leasing office.
• Follow up with prospects and renewals to secure leases or renewals.
• Address resident and owner questions promptly and document requests.
