Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Specialist in Austin, TX to coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies for a high-occupancy community. The role focuses on greeting prospects, tours, applications, and lease processing to achieve occupancy and revenue targets.

The position requires active lease management, rapid response to inquiries, and collaboration with maintenance to ensure move-in readiness and show unit quality.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to greet, qualify, and convert prospects.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple leasing tasks and follow up with applicants.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, process applications, perform credit screening and background checks, prepare leases and move-in packages.
• Inspect apartments prior to move-in and coordinate maintenance for move-in readiness.
• Develop and implement short- and long-term marketing plans to sustain occupancy and revenue.
• Design and execute marketing activities to drive traffic, including referrals and online campaigns.
• Utilize property management software to track availability, traffic, and resident data; ensure show units meet standards.
• Follow up with prospects to encourage lease signings and renewals; prepare renewal letters and packages.
