Job summary

Greystar in Houston, TX is seeking a Leasing Agent to manage leasing, marketing, and renewal processes to hit occupancy and revenue goals. You will greet prospects, tour properties, process applications, screen credit and background, and prepare leases and move-in packages.

Applicants should have a valid driver's license, be able to stand and walk, and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Bilingual Spanish/English a plus. Competitive hourly pay and robust benefits offered.

• Experience coordinating leases and move-in packages.
• Strong communication and sales skills to hit occupancy goals.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, process applications, credit and background checks, prepare lease documents and move-in packages.
• Inspect apartments before move-in and coordinate readiness with maintenance.
• Monitor market and competitors to inform marketing plans and occupancy strategies.
• Create and execute marketing activities to drive traffic (Craigslist, social media, email, etc.).
• Use on-site PMS to track availability, traffic, and resident data.
• Ensure show units meet company standards for quality and appearance.
• Follow up with prospects and renew residents to maximize occupancy and renewals.
• Support lease renewal processes with letters, packages, and timely signings.
• Respond promptly to resident concerns and requests and document actions.
