Job summary

Real Estate Equities Group in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a Leasing Specialist to own leasing apartments at Ames Lake Neighborhood to maintain competitive occupancy.

You will meet occupancy objectives, schedule tours, process background checks, and ensure eligibility for affordable housing programs while delivering exceptional customer service.

The role requires 1–3 years leasing or sales experience, familiarity with Yardi and Knock platforms, and knowledge of Fair Housing Laws; training provided.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years leasing or related sales experience.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and compliance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with affordable housing programs preferred (Section 8/42/LITHC/Tax Credit).

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed occupancy targets and manage the leasing process.
• Schedule tours, show apartments, and follow up with prospects.
• Process applications and background checks; ensure eligibility for programs.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents and applicants.
• Attend training and participate in resident activities; work with on-site team.
