Job summary

Cornerstone Residential in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Leasing Agent to greet prospects, conduct property tours, and process rental applications to secure leases. The role emphasizes accurate information delivery, Fair Housing compliance, and strong customer service across daily leasing activities.

You will support marketing efforts, maintain occupancy targets, and assist with lease renewals as required. A background in customer service or sales and a HS diploma are needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably within Residential Property Management.
• Experience in hospitality, retail, sales, or customer service will also be considered.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service and sales experience.
• High School diploma or equivalency certificate required.
• Valid Driver's License, a good driving record, and current motor vehicle insurance which meets State requirements.
• Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
• Strong computer skills (MS Office, Google Apps, property management-related software, email, internet, social media).
• Must be able to pass a background and drug screening.
• LIHTC experience

Responsibilities

• Client Relations: Carry out the philosophies and wishes of the Owner in daily operations to meet Client objectives.
• Communication: Maintain professional communication with applicants, residents, vendors, clients, and guests.
• Leasing/Occupancy: Maintain occupancy levels as established by owner/budget expectations.
• Exhibit professional leasing techniques and close deals.
• Assist with monthly Market Surveys and analysis.
• Assist with advertising and marketing strategies for the apartment community.
• Ensure online marketing sources are updated daily.
• Promote positive resident/management relations and address customer needs.
• Assist with resident retention programs.
• Ensure safety, comfort, and privacy of residents.
• Complete move-in orientation consistently for new residents.
• Maintain resident files and documentation per SOPs.
• Ensure confidential handling of documents and reporting systems.
• May assist in periodic reporting requirements.
• Risk Management: ensure compliance with reporting injuries and property damage.
• Facility Maintenance: assist residents with maintenance requests and monitor physical asset.
• Follow up on maintenance requests to promote satisfaction.
• Other duties as assigned.
