Job summary

The Morgan Group is seeking an on-site Leasing Associate in Austin, TX. You will greet prospects, tour apartments, and guide them through the leasing process while representing Morgan Group’s standards and services.

You will answer calls, manage leads, and coordinate paperwork to ensure a smooth move-in experience. Strong sales and customer-service skills, plus knowledge of local market trends, are essential.

Qualifications

• High School or better.
• Associates or better preferred.
• Bachelor’s or higher preferred.
• Experience in sales or customer service is required and experience in the property management industry is preferred.
• Proficient user of email, Internet (including social media) and web-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to MORGAN’s Leasing and Marketing, Management and Operations, Maintenance, and Emergency Procedures manuals along with the Team Member Handbook.
• Answer the phone.
• Follow up with all traffic and input information into the appropriate system.
• Stand up and greet client.
• Tour and lease apartments and sell the products and service of the community.
• Responsible for the leasing process from introduction to occupancy.
• Walk apartment before move-in to ensure MORGAN standards.
• Prepare and complete all leasing paperwork including the lease.
• Obtain move-in keys, remote and parking permit prior to move-in date.
• Respond to resident requests and help resolve resident problems, including creating service requests.
• Complete Grace Hill classes and attend required training.
• Maintain knowledge of the community and competition.
• Know the market including nearby businesses and trends.
• Prepare weekly/monthly market surveys.
• Participate in resident functions and MORGAN-sponsored activities.
• Report to Assistant Community Manager in absence of the Community Manager.
• Work overtime as necessary to meet MORGAN standards of customer service.
• Build relationships with colleagues across departments.
