Job summary

Avanath is seeking a Leasing Specialist to drive leasing, marketing, and positive resident relations within the community in Los Angeles, CA. You will greet prospects, qualify leads, present community features, and close leases while maintaining accurate paperwork in Yardi and the property management system.

The role requires a minimum of 2+ years in sales or customer relations, fluency in English and Spanish, and strong computer skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales or customer relations experience.
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
• Working knowledge of Yardi Voyager Property Management software.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Proficient with Windows, Word, Excel, and email.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify all prospects.
• Record all visits on guest cards.
• Inspect models and communicate needs to Community Manager.
• Demonstrate community features and close the lease.
• Have applicant complete the application and secure a deposit.
• Update availability report and process applications for approvals.
• Ensure apartment is ready for move-in on the agreed date.
• Follow up with prospects who did not close and refer to sister communities as needed.
• Obtain new resident signatures and orient new residents.
• Assist in renewals and distribute renewal notices.
• Type leases and input information in Yardi accurately.
• Maintain resident files and distribute notices.
• Maintain monthly commission records for bonuses.
• Assist management with tasks and adhere to policies.
