CWS Apartment Homes is seeking a Community Assistant to promote leasing and occupancy goals while enhancing resident satisfaction. You will liaise between residents and staff, prepare move-in packages, and walk units for readiness.

The role includes planning social events, handling concerns, and supporting marketing and administrative tasks across properties in the Houston area. Ideal candidates have strong communication skills, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work weekends or

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be enrolled as a degree-seeking student.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to adhere to a set and variable work schedule, including weekends and emergencies.
• Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Own a valid driver's license with a good driving record and current auto insurance.
• Basic internet, word processing, and spreadsheet skills.

Responsibilities

• Leasing the community and preparing move-in packages and lease paperwork.
• Walk units to confirm readiness and issue keys and access cards.
• Establish rapport with residents and act as liaison between residents and staff.
• Plan and implement social events for residents regularly.
• Assist residents with issues or conflicts and participate in after-hours on-call emergencies.
• Participate in staff marketing meetings and support annual/semi-annual turn processes.
• Maintain resident files and enter information into the database.
• Attend regular safety meetings and follow risk management policies.
