Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Assistant to manage leasing, marketing and maintain positive resident relations at a property in Houston.

You will greet prospects, tour communities, qualify leads, prepare leases, and support daily administration while contributing to retention programs and market surveys. Regular onsite attendance and collaboration with leasing teams are essential to meet leasing goals and deliver exceptional resident experiences.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to perform on-site software functions; basic computer skills needed.
• Must have knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Property Leasing and Administration
• Regular/daily onsite attendance required
• Show, lease, and move in prospective residents; sign a lease
• Close the sale with appointments, tours, and follow-up
• Complete leasing paperwork prior to move-in
• Assist with lease audits, walking units, and turn process
• Maintain prospect traffic and respond to leads within 24 hours
• Support on-site marketing plans to increase traffic and meet leasing goals
• Handle resident complaints and assist in retention programs
• Maintain knowledge of property and market conditions and complete weekly surveys
