Subtext in Ann Arbor is hiring an Assistant Manager of Leasing to oversee the full leasing cycle, resident retention, and daily operations of the leasing office. You will collaborate with the Community Manager and the Outreach & Digital Marketing Manager to maintain occupancy, drive renewals, and uphold leasing standards across platforms.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in customer service or sales, strong communication, and comfort with leasing software such as Entrata and RoomSync.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of customer service or sales experience
• Effective communicator in person, by phone, and in writing
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Comfortable with leasing and property management software, email, and reporting tools
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Conduct tours and maintain curb appeal
• Drive renewal outreach and occupancy performance
• Review applications for completeness and approve or escalate
• Monitor Entrata dashboard and ensure timely follow-up
• Coordinate unit placement based on availability and terms
• Audit lease settings for accuracy and currency
• Build Entrata templates for consistent outreach
• Track market performance and renewal strategy
• Onboard and train new leasing hires
• Pull Entrata reports to monitor metrics
• Coordinate leasing schedule with Marketing
• Support operational tasks and ensure policy compliance
• Complete required training on time
