Job summary

Cardinal Group Companies in Ann Arbor is seeking an Assistant Manager of Leasing to lead the full leasing cycle, drive resident retention, and support daily leasing operations. You will collaborate with the Community Manager and Outreach and Digital Marketing Manager to maintain occupancy and execute renewals.

The role requires a customer-service mindset, 1–2 years of experience, and proficiency with leasing software such as Entrata and RoomSync.

Qualifications

1–2 years of customer service or sales experience.
Effective communication in person, by phone, and in writing.
Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

Conduct tours using the established tour path and maintain curb appeal.
Review applications for completeness and accuracy; approve or escalate as needed.
Monitor Entrata dashboard and ensure follow-up within 24 hours of inquiry.
Coordinate unit placement based on availability and terms; audit settings for accuracy.
Build Entrata templates for standard communications to support outreach.
Track market performance, leasing velocity, and feedback to inform strategy.
Manage self-guided tour scheduling and knowledge base for automated responses.
Draft and send renewal communications and offers to residents prior to lease expiration.
Oversee renewal process from outreach to lease signing and inform residents at each step.
