Job summary

LR Management is seeking a reliable Leasing Consultant in Michigan to join a fast-growing property management team. The role focuses on presenting apartments, building rapport with tenants, and delivering personalized service to prospective renters.

The successful candidate will have 2+ years in leasing or hospitality, with experience using Yardi and CRM, and will manage lease paperwork, maintain vacancy records, and coordinate with maintenance. Strong communication a must.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred or a high school diploma with leasing/coordinator experience accepted.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in leasing, hospitality, or administrative work.
• Experience with Yardi and CRM is required.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask during busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Present apartments and amenities to prospective tenants.
• Build rapport with tenants and provide personalized service.
• Prepare and execute lease agreements and addendums according to standards.
• Maintain apartment availability and unit status records.
• Coordinate with Maintenance to ensure property upkeep.
• Screen prospective tenants for eligibility.
• Oversee orientation of new tenants.
• Assist with office tasks and answer phones professionally.
• Follow up on service requests as needed.
• Accept rent payments, security deposits, and fees.
• Inspect properties at occupancy and vacate.
• Liaise with tenants to address concerns.
