Trinity Property Consultants in Newport News, VA is hiring an Assistant Property Manager to support daily operations and financial performance of our multifamily property. You will work closely with the Property Manager to deliver an exceptional resident experience, maintain operational excellence, and assist leasing, collections, and administrative functions.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, customer-focused professional seeking growth in multifamily property management.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in multifamily residential property management.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Industry certifications (CAM, CPM, RMP, CMCA) are preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations.
• Tech proficiency with MS Office, SharePoint, and ADP; experience with Yardi, Entrata, Celeri, EliseAI and Asana is a bonus.

Responsabilités

• Receive, process, and post rent payments according to company standards.
• Assist with collections, including past-due balances and former resident accounts.
• Maintain all account records and financial transactions.
• Keep complete and accurate resident files per company standards.
• Assist with market surveys and competitive analysis.
• Show, lease, and move-in for prospective residents.
• Process rental applications and renewals; manage move-out documentation.
• Conduct move-in inspections and assist with deposit accounting.
• Perform regular property and vacant unit inspections; coordinate with maintenance and vendors.
• Provide exceptional resident service and resolve concerns professionally.
