Job summary

Trinity Property Consultants in Los Angeles is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support daily operations, financial performance, and leasing activities. You will partner with the Property Manager to deliver a top-notch resident experience and ensure operational excellence across multifamily properties.

The role demands detail-orientation, strong communication, and hands-on administration, with responsibilities spanning rent processing, move-ins, applications, renewals, and inspections,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in multifamily residential property management.
• High school diploma or equivalent required. Industry certifications (CAM, CPM, RMP, CMCA) preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and SharePoint; experience with ADP; knowledge of Yardi, Entrata, Cel eri, EliseAI and Asana is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process, and post rent payments in accordance with company standards.
• Assist with collections, including past-due balances and former resident accounts.
• Maintain all account records and financial transactions, including NSF checks, rent allowances, concessions, rent increases, and other management-issued debits and credits.
• Keep complete and accurate resident files meeting company standards.
• Assist with market surveys and competitive analysis.
• Show, lease, and assist with move-ins for prospective residents.
• Process rental applications, renewals, and move-out documentation.
• Conduct move-in inspections to ensure apartments are ready; assist with deposit accounting.
• Perform regular property and vacant unit inspections to ensure smooth operations.
• Coordinate with Maintenance and vendors for prompt service resolution and performance.
• Process Maintenance work orders promptly and accurately.
• Provide superior resident service to residents.
• Resolve resident concerns professionally and escalate as needed.
• Support the Property Manager with daily operations and special projects.
