Job summary

Milhaus is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support the Property Manager in maximizing cash flow, resident relations, and retention across our Florida properties. You will coordinate communications with Milhaus staff, vendors, and residents to ensure smooth operations and adherence to company policies.

Responsibilities include leasing, applicant screening, market analysis, reporting, and assisting with budgets.

Qualifications

• Two years of progressively responsible experience.
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in budget planning and expenses monitoring.
• Computer skills sufficient to enter reports and daily operations data.
• Knowledge of Equal Housing Opportunity (EHO) requirements and applicable program regulations.

Responsibilities

• Handles residency inquiries via phone and in person and maintains records.
• Leases apartment homes and processes applications and deposits; follows up with residents.
• Screens applicants and communicates acceptance or denial per procedures and EHO rules.
• Conducts market surveys and makes marketing recommendations based on surveys.
• Executes weekly traffic analysis and prepares required reports.
• Maintains relationships with employers and real estate partners for outreach.
• Manages daily financial reporting and records; assists with budget preparation.
