Job summary

DHA Housing Solutions for North Texas in Dallas, TX seeks a Leasing Professional I to review RFTA packets for the HCV program and coordinate with landlords and clients to complete processing under HUD/DHA guidelines. The role emphasizes accuracy, documentation, and communication to determine approval of rental units and scheduling inspections.

Associates degree with 2 years related experience or equivalent, plus a Texas driver’s license, are required; training to obtain Rent Calculation

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent; 2 years related work experience.
• Ability to obtain Rent Calculation Certification within 6 months.
• Valid Texas driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Review and process Request for Tenancy Approval (RFTA) documents.
• Provide clients and landlords with documentation identifying missing items required to complete processing.
• Provide clients and landlords with documentation indicating approval or denial of proposed rental units in the HCV program.
• Daily document and log information received, accepted or denied.
• Establish Landlord accounts.
• Perform Tolling in Voyager Software.
• Coordinate with Leasing Professional II and/or Supervisor for client information and HAP Contract details.
• Submit RFTA packets for scheduling of initial housing inspection.
• Maintain copy of available rental units within DHA's jurisdiction.
• Research rental levels for assisted units per HUD and DHA guidelines.
