Job summary

Brookside Properties in Louisville, KY is seeking a Leasing Professional to join our team. You will complete lease agreements, collect deposits, and ensure model apartments are ready for tours.

The ideal candidate has leasing or sales experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Outlook, Word, and Excel. Some experience with Entrata and social media is a plus. Availability on Saturdays is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Leasing experience preferred; customer service or sales background required.
• Bilingual a plus, but not required.
• Professional appearance, office-appropriate attire.
• Problem-solving skills and a positive attitude in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong computer skills including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Experience with Entrata and social media platforms is a plus.
• Ability to walk properties, climb stairs, and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Availability to work Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Completing lease agreements and collecting rental deposits.
• Ensuring model apartments are ready for tours.
• Maintaining accurate resident and property files.
• Knowledge of lease terms, policies, rental rates, apartment sizes, locations, and property amenities.
• Utilizing phone and leasing techniques effectively.
• Understanding and following the leasing application process and screening procedures.
• Maintaining a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
• Conducting regular property inspections to ensure all vacant apartments are ready for showings.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with local businesses for marketing purposes.
• Responding promptly and courteously to resident requests or concerns.
• Operating in compliance with OSHA, EPA standards, and Fair Housing regulations.
