Job summary

BH Management, LLC is seeking a Leasing Consultant to respond to inquiries from prospective renters and lease, market, and renew apartments in line with company standards and Fair Housing guidelines. The role emphasizes excellent customer service and professional representation of the company.

You will support daily marketing, administrative tasks, and financial operations under the Community Manager, while maintaining knowledge of the local market, promotions, and floor plans.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role and service delivery.
• Proven sales and closing abilities in a leasing context.
• Strong organizational and written/spoken communication skills.
• Ability to work with a diverse group of people.
• Where required by law, ability to obtain a state leasing license.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily marketing, administrative, and financial operation under Community Manager.
• Understand the community and local market; know promotions and floor plans.
• Process lease applications and prepare new lease contracts.
• Inspect units prior to greeting and touring prospects, including vacant/model units.
• Communicate concerns to Service Manager or Community Manager before move-in.
• Utilize third-party online leasing programs appropriately.
• Log prospect information and notifications in the Property Management software.
• Respond to emails, voicemails, and text messages promptly.
• Stay updated on leasing incentives and promotions.
• Assist with Move Out Vacant Inspection Checklist within deadlines.
• Post notices to vacate and other community communications.
• Assist with daily community inspections and policy adherence.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
