Independence Realty Trust Inc. is seeking an Apartment Leasing Consultant to welcome prospects, showcase our Millenia communities, and turn tours into leases with your sales expertise.

You will be the face of the community, building relationships with current and future residents in a fast-paced, people-focused environment. This role includes conducting tours, managing the lease application process, coordinating resident events, and supporting marketing efforts to attract new residents.

Qualifications

• Proven sales or customer service experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and a passion for helping people find their home.
• Must be able to attend company-paid, multi-day out-of-state training within 2 weeks of start date.

Responsibilities

• Welcome prospective residents, understand their needs, and match them with our community’s amenities.
• Conduct community tours that highlight the lifestyle IRT offers.
• Follow up with prospects to close sales and achieve leasing goals.
• Manage the lease application process, ensuring a smooth transition for new residents.
• Serve as a knowledgeable resource on community features, rents, and amenities.
• Conduct market research and contribute to marketing plans to attract new residents.
• Coordinate resident events that build community and enhance resident satisfaction.
