IRT Living at Independence Realty Trust's 1800 at Barrett Lakes is seeking an Apartment Leasing Consultant to welcome prospects, tour the community, and close leases with your sales skills.

You’ll handle applications, coordinate tours, and participate in market research and events; training is provided in Tampa, with opportunities for growth and competitive compensation, including commissions and stock awards.

Qualifications

• Proven sales or customer service experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Positive attitude, charisma, and a passion for helping people.
• Must be able to attend a company paid, multi-day, out of state training within 2 weeks of start date.

Responsibilities

• Welcome prospective residents, understand their needs, and expertly match them with our community’s amenities.
• Conduct community tours that highlight the unique lifestyle IRT offers.
• Follow up with prospects to close sales and achieve leasing goals.
• Manage the lease application process, ensuring a smooth transition for new residents.
• Serve as a knowledgeable resource on community features, rents, and amenities.
• Conduct market research and contribute to marketing plans to attract new residents.
• Coordinate resident events that build community and enhance resident satisfaction.
