Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Specialist to coordinate the community’s marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals. You will greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, process applications, run credit and background checks, and prepare lease packages for move-in and renewal.

Daily duties include inspecting units, staying informed on market conditions, designing marketing plans, using on-site software (OneSite, Yardi), and following

• Experience in leasing and sales to achieve occupancy and revenue goals.
• Ability to greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, process applications, and coordinate move-in packages.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours and show apartments
• Process applications, credit screening, and background checks
• Prepare lease and move-in packages; ensure smooth move-in/lease signing
• Inspect apartments for move-in readiness; coordinate maintenance
• Develop and implement short/long-term marketing plans to sustain occupancy
• Utilize on-site software to track availability and leasing activities
• Follow up with residents and renewals; prepare renewal letters
• Respond to resident/owner questions and document requests
