Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC in Jersey City is seeking a Leasing Specialist to drive leasing and renewal strategies, greet prospects, conduct tours, screen applicants, prepare leases, and support move-ins.

You will collaborate with maintenance and marketing teams, use OneSite/Yardi to track occupancy, and ensure show units meet standards while delivering outstanding resident service to maximize occupancy and retention.

Qualifications

• Must be able to greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, and process applications.
• Ability to run background checks, credit screening, and prepare lease documents.
• Maintain property showing standards and coordinate with maintenance staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform leasing activities to achieve revenue and occupancy goals.
• Schedule tours, process applications, and sign leases with new residents.
• Follow up with prospects and renewals to maximize occupancy and retention.
• Track traffic, leasing activities, and resident data using property software.
• Coordinate with maintenance and marketing to ensure show units meet standards.
