Job summary

smcexternalcareers is seeking an Assistant Leasing Manager to support the Leasing Managers and Leasing Professionals in a fast-paced community environment. You will lead by example in leasing, customer service, and goal attainment.

Responsibilities include managing the leasing process end-to-end, marketing coordination, and coaching the leasing team to improve traffic and occupancy while staying abreast of industry trends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• One year of experience in property management or similar high-volume sales, marketing and/or real estate environment.
• Experience with Yardi software products preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage leasing process from first point of contact to move-in.
• Inspect apartments and the community to ensure product quality.
• Assist the Leasing Manager with all aspects of community marketing and advertising.
• Utilize sales and marketing strategies to increase property traffic, maintain closing ratios and achieve budgeted occupancy.
• Assist the Leasing Manager with training and coaching the leasing team.
• Stay abreast of industry trends.
• Deliver exceptional customer service.
• Contribute to community and company engagement efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned by managers/supervisors.
• Encourage and build positive relationships with all team members, customers, and vendors.
• Provide dependable support to the Community Manager and leasing team.
