Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Leasing / Sales Consultant to execute property marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies, guiding prospects through the process with professionalism. You will support resident satisfaction, manage referrals, and collaborate with Lifestyle staff to boost engagement.

The role requires lead management, CRM usage, data analysis, and event support, with a focus on achieving occupancy and revenue targets across the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, hospitality, or related field preferred.
• 1-3 years minimum of relevant experience in sales, marketing, internet and customer service to resolve issues and complete financial records.
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to explain apartment features and answer questions.
• Mathematical skills to process sales conversions.
• Ability to apply sales skills, such as generating leads, presenting, qualifying prospects, and closing.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct property tours and show apartments, process applications, credit and background checks, and prepare lease packages.
• Collect information from prospective residents at move-in and record in system.
• Develop and implement marketing plans to sustain occupancy and follow policies on concessions and programs.
• Design and execute marketing activities and events to drive traffic and referrals.
• Use on-site property management software to track availability, traffic, and data.
• Ensure show units meet quality standards and coordinate maintenance needs.
• Follow up with prospects and new residents within 24 hours to finalize lease decisions.
• Support lease renewals by preparing letters and packages and contacting renewing residents.
