Job summary

University Partners is seeking a Leasing Manager to lead all leasing and marketing efforts for the community in Charlottesville, VA. The role supervises the leasing team, drives occupancy and renewal performance, and ensures compliance with Fair Housing guidelines and company standards.

You will oversee prospect management, lease approvals, data integrity in Entrata, and movement toward budgeted occupancy through strategic marketing and resident retention initiatives.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of leasing, leadership, or property management experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to analyze leasing trends and pricing strategies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Entrata preferred.
• Willingness to work weekends and extended leasing seasons.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach Leasing Consultants to achieve occupancy and renewal goals.
• Oversee prospect management, lead response, tours, and closings.
• Ensure Fair Housing compliance and accurate lease files.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to reach occupancy targets.
• Maintain leasing reports, market surveys, and performance tracking.
• Coordinate move-in planning and traffic flow; support retention efforts.
• Prepare weekly and monthly leasing and marketing reports.
• Ensure office coverage and professional leasing office presentation.
• Assist budgeting coordination for leasing and marketing.
