Job summary

DTN Management Company is seeking a Leasing Manager in Michigan to lead the leasing team, meet occupancy goals, and drive revenue projections. The role involves hiring, training, and mentoring staff, plus coordinating with marketing on campaigns and off-site initiatives.

You will be responsible for renewal/outreach, sales techniques, and presenting leases to prospective and renewing residents, while staying informed on local market trends and competition.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent is required.
• Experience with or the ability to learn technology and operating software used at DTN communities including Yardi, Microsoft Office Excel and Power Point.
• Experience or ability to learn social media and reputation management websites including Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and motivate leasing team to meet property leasing goals.
• Establish and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly leasing goals.
• In Property Manager's absence, provide day to day guidance to site team and leadership to achieve daily property goals.
• Establish and monitor execution of daily, weekly, and monthly leasing tasks.
• Partner with the DTN marketing team to establish and execute marketing campaigns, including off-site initiatives.
• Lead renewal/outreach strategy to maximize resident retention including campaigns and events.
• Train and monitor leasing process including sales techniques, lead generation and application/lease signing.
• Create and present leases to future residents and renewing current residents.
• Maintain knowledge of local market competition and macro market performance.
• Foster positive relations with employees, residents, and community members.
• Use approved technology to manage leads to leases and address resident needs.
• Care for properties through site inspections and curb appeal.
• Enter work orders and follow up after completion to ensure customer satisfaction.
