Job summary

DTN Management Company is seeking a Leasing Manager to lead the on-site leasing team and drive occupancy and revenue projections for one or more properties in Michigan. You will hire, train, and mentor staff, coordinate with marketing, and oversee daily leasing activities to meet monthly targets.

You will manage renewal campaigns, lead generation, and guest visits while maintaining strong resident relations and ensuring top-quality curb appeal and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• 2+ years of customer service and/or sales experience in management.
• Well organized with ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Experience with or ability to learn technology and operating software (Yardi, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience or ability to learn social media and reputation management websites (Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat).
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends at various times during the year.
• Reliable transportation to get to work daily and to conduct daily job responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and motivate leasing team to meet property leasing goals.
• Establish and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly leasing goals.
• Provide leadership in the Property Manager’s absence.
• Lead renewal/outreach strategy to maximize resident retention.
• Train and monitor leasing processes including lead management and applications/leases.
• Create and present leases to future residents and renewals.
• Maintain market knowledge and professional relations with residents and community members.
• Use operating software to manage leads, leases, and resident needs.
• Enter work orders and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.
