Job summary

DTN is seeking a Leasing Manager in Michigan to lead the leasing team, drive occupancy goals, and oversee renewal efforts. This role includes hiring, training, and mentoring staff, plus collaborating with the marketing team to execute campaigns and off-site initiatives.

You will guide daily leasing activities, manage lead generation and application/lease processes, and ensure high resident satisfaction through proactive management and market awareness.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• 2+ years of customer service and/or sales experience in management.
• Well organized with ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Experience with Yardi, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint.
• Experience learning social media and reputation management tools (Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat).
• Willingness to work nights and weekends.
• Reliable transportation to work daily.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and motivate leasing team to meet property leasing goals.
• Set and monitor daily, weekly, monthly leasing targets.
• Provide leadership in the Property Manager’s absence.
• Lead leasing tasks and campaigns with the marketing team.
• Manage renewals and resident outreach to maximize retention.
• Present leases and manage applicant processes.
• Maintain knowledge of local market competition and performance.
• Foster positive relations with residents and staff.
• Utilize DTN software to convert leads to leases and track needs.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure curb appeal.
• Enter work orders and ensure customer satisfaction.
