Job summary

Waterton in Chicago, IL is seeking a Leasing Manager to oversee and motivate a team of leasing professionals. You will lead all processes for selling and renewing residential leases, focusing on generating qualified prospects, touring the property, following up, and preparing lease packages.

You will meet occupancy goals by guiding the leasing team, conducting tours, closing sales, managing renewal processes, and ensuring lease paperwork is complete and compliant, while developing marketing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year leasing experience and 2+ years in sales/marketing.
• Illinois Leasing Agent license required within 120 days of hire; if not held, must be obtained within 120 days to remain eligible.

Responsibilities

• Meet occupancy goals by leading the leasing team.
• Generate interest, answer questions, tour prospects, and close sales.
• Oversee lease renewals and documentation; protect resident information.
• Ensure offices, models, vacants and common areas meet readiness standards.
• Maintain knowledge of local market and assist marketing plans to increase visibility.
• Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective residents.
