Job summary

DTN in Michigan seeks a Property Manager to act as the CEO at each property within your portfolio, leading teams to meet property objectives and ensure satisfaction for residents, staff, and owners. This includes hiring, training, and mentoring each team member under your leadership.

You will hire, train and mentor staff, manage annual property and capital budgets, evaluate marketing, and maintain market knowledge to keep properties competitive and compliant with brand standards across locations.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience at a senior level within a property portfolio.
• 3+ years of experience in property management.
• Financial acumen with experience managing to a P&L statement.
• Attention to detail to represent the brand across properties.
• Experience with DTN software ecosystem or ability to learn Yardi, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Availability at night and on weekends as needed.
• Reliable transportation for daily duties.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a role model for core values and culture at DTN.
• Deliver exceptional service to prospects, residents, guests, and vendors.
• Coordinate and direct activities of team members to meet property goals.
• Develop and manage annual property and capital budgets.
• Evaluate advertising, marketing and social media campaigns for alignment with goals.
• Maintain knowledge of local market competition and macro market performance.
• Maintain curb appeal and property condition per budgets.
