Job summary

NM Residential is seeking a dynamic Leasing Manager for University Studios in Cleveland, OH. The role focuses on maximizing occupancy, ensuring Fair Housing compliance, and delivering exceptional service to prospective and current residents.

The ideal candidate will manage the full leasing process, develop sales strategies, and coordinate events. This position is full-time in Cleveland with hourly pay and commission opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior property leasing or management experience required; student housing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full leasing process from marketing to application processing.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to attract prospective residents.
• Conduct market surveys and adjust leasing strategies to remain competitive.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve resident inquiries.
• Follow up with renewals and prospects to close leases and promote retention.
• Plan and coordinate resident events to build engagement and satisfaction.
• Prepare lease agreements and ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations.
• Maintain confidential resident records and applicant documentation.
• Handle administrative duties such as answering calls, processing maintenance requests, and managing rent payments.
• Collaborate with maintenance to ensure apartments are ready for showings and move-ins.
• Schedule and manage move-ins/move-outs and inspect vacant units.
• Prepare welcome packages for new residents.
• Attend property staff meetings and complete assigned tasks
