Southern Management Companies seeks a high-performing Leasing Manager in Silver Spring, MD to lead a sales-driven team, design marketing strategies, and drive occupancy and revenue.

The role requires coaching staff, managing the leasing process from inquiry to move-in, and maintaining internal quality control while staying current with industry trends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Two years of experience in property management or similar high-volume sales, marketing, or real estate environment.
• Experience with Yardi products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, coach, counsel and manage a successful leasing team.
• Encourage and build positive relationships with all team members, customers, and vendors.
• Oversee leasing process from first point of contact to move-in, ensuring internal quality control standards are maintained.
• Utilize sales and marketing strategies to increase property traffic, maintain closing ratios and achieve budgetary goals.
• Inspect apartments and the community to ensure product quality.
• Oversee all aspects of community marketing and advertising efforts.
• Assist with preparation of annual budget and community plans.
• Ensure purchase order process is completed according to internal quality control standards.
• Stay abreast of industry trends.
• Contribute to community and company engagement efforts.
• Demonstrate behaviors that cultivate a positive work culture.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager and/or supervisor.

Pay Rate:

$45,393 - $61,459
