Job summary

Southern Management Companies is seeking Leasing Professionals to act as brand ambassadors for our communities. You will manage the leasing process from first contact to move-in and build relationships with residents and team members. Weekend availability is required and reliable transportation is a must.

The ideal candidate has sales aptitude, excellent communication, strong organizational skills, and competency with Word and Excel. Yardi experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Sales experience or aptitude in leasing, sales, customer service, retail, or hospitality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong organizational capabilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to use internet for marketing and sales purposes.

Responsibilities

• Manage the leasing process from first contact to move-in.
• Encourage and build positive relationships with team members, customers and vendors.
• Execute follow-up plans for prospects who do not rent on first visit.
• Meet or exceed traffic, application, move-in, wait list, and conversion goals.
• Complete all leasing paperwork per internal quality control processes.

Excellent written and verbal communication, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and online marketing platforms. Must thrive in a fast-paced environment, must be available to work weekends, and have reliable transportation for outreach. Bilingual Spanish a plus.

Our Leasing Professionals are brand ambassadors for our communities, bringing people and apartment homes together. They are energetic and compassionate individuals with sales expertise and a passion for building relationships.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:

• Encourage and build positive relationships with all team members, customers, and vendors
• Manage the leasing process from first point of contact to move-in
• Execute follow-up plan for future residents who do not rent on first visit
• Meet or exceed traffic, application, move-in, wait list, and conversion ratio goals
• Complete all leasing paperwork and processes per internal quality control processes
• Inspect apartments and the community to ensure product quality
• Conduct new resident move-in orientations
• Contribute to community/company engagement efforts
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor

JOB KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• Competence with Microsoft Word and Excel

What's required from you:

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience in leasing, sales, customer service, retail, or hospitality
• Experience with Yardi products a plus

Pay Rate:

$17.50 - $25.38
