Southern Management Co. is seeking Leasing Professionals in Annandale, VA who are energetic and customer-focused, with sales experience and a talent for relationship-building.

You will manage the leasing process from initial contact through move-in, perform follow-ups, and aim to meet or exceed traffic, applications, and conversion targets while handling all leasing paperwork and site inspections.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the leasing process from first contact to move-in.
• Execute follow-up plans for future residents who do not rent on first visit.
• Meet or exceed traffic, application, move-in, wait list, and conversion goals.
• Complete leasing paperwork and internal quality control processes.
• Inspect apartments and the community for product quality.
• Conduct new resident move-in orientations.
• Contribute to community engagement efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor.

Excellent written and verbal communication, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and online marketing platforms. Must thrive in a fast-paced environment, must be available to work weekends, and have reliable transportation for outreach. Bilingual Spanish a plus.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:

• Encourage and build positive relationships with all team members, customers, and vendors
• Manage the leasing process from first point of contact to move-in
• Execute follow-up plan for future residents who do not rent on first visit
• Meet or exceed traffic, application, move-in, wait list, and conversion ratio goals
• Complete all leasing paperwork and processes per internal quality control processes
• Inspect apartments and the community to ensure product quality
• Conduct new resident move-in orientations
• Contribute to community/company engagement efforts
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor

JOB KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• Sales aptitude with attention to detail
• Flexibility in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational capabilities
• Competence with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Proficiency utilizing the internet for marketing, advertising, and sales-related purposes
• Ability to demonstrate behaviors which cultivate a positive professional culture

What's required from you:

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience in leasing, sales, customer service, retail, or hospitality
• Experience with Yardi products a plus

Pay Rate:

$17.50 - $25.38
