Job summary

Ascentia is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to provide excellent service and support for residents and prospective residents at our manufactured housing communities. You will greet residents, answer calls, guide leasing, and update occupancy and market information across platforms.

You will handle leases, input data into Yardi, and assist with administrative tasks while ensuring compliance with policies and Fair Housing regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience.
• Authorization to work in the US.
• Property management experience preferred.
• Yardi experience a plus.
• Excellent verbal, written, prioritization, time management, organization, and listening skills with attention to detail.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must possess valid/active driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent internal and external customer service.
• Greet and assist residents and prospective residents.
• Answer and direct incoming calls.
• Prioritize customer service and ensure prompt, courteous service.
• Maintain professional conduct and appearance per policy.
• Input maintenance work orders to resolve resident issues.
• Assist prospective residents through leasing per policies and Fair Housing regulations.
• Maintain knowledge of market rents, occupancy, move-in specials, sister communities, and amenities.
• Show models/homes and highlight features.
• Utilize selling techniques to close the deal and obtain a signed residential application.
• Process applications and communicate move-in information and guidelines.
• Market community through various platforms and update online ads.
• Follow up with prospective residents promptly.
• Ensure accuracy of marketing materials and signage.
• Update and post online advertising regularly.
• Complete administrative tasks for the community.
• Process leases and input information into Yardi.
• Prepare reports and communicate occupancy with Community Manager.
