Job summary

Fortis Property Management is seeking a Leasing Consultant to lease apartments at Riverworks at Eastern Wharf in Savannah, GA. The role focuses on achieving strong occupancy and revenue through exceptional customer service and proactive outreach.

You will show apartments, quote prices, manage paperwork, and support marketing campaigns while contributing to a positive resident experience and a commission-based earnings structure.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in leasing, marketing, sales, or customer-facing roles.
• Experience with social media, email marketing, and marketing automation platforms preferred.
• Familiarity with lead generation strategies and sales support processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and basic CRM tools.
• Proficiency with property management software (Yardi, RealPage, MRI, AppFolio).
• Canva knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Show apartments.
• Provide information to prospects via telephone and personal visits.
• Accurately quote prices.
• Follow up on all prospects.
• Thorough knowledge of the immediate market and all comparable properties.
• Thorough knowledge of the surrounding community.
• Ensure all necessary application paperwork is obtained from prospects.
• Provide superior customer service.
• Collect money (deposits, rents, etc.).
• Prepare and review leases for accuracy.
• Maintain effective and aggressive lease renewal program.
• Inspect apartments for readiness.
• Adherence to and proper implementation of Fortis Properties Management policies and procedures.
• Distribute move-in packages.
• Other duties as delegated.

The focus of the Leasing Consultant is to lease apartments while achieving the highest effective rent levels possible and maintaining a strong customer service/satisfaction philosophy. You assist in your community's goal to effectively and efficiently lease the property, while also promoting excellence in resident customer and service.

Job Description/Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Marketing & Sales Support

• Support the execution of marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
• Assist in developing and distributing marketing materials, presentations, and product information.
• Generate leads and support the sales team by identifying potential opportunities.
• Collect feedback from customers to inform marketing strategies and product improvements.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions, leads, and marketing activities.

Reporting & Analytics

• Track marketing activities and report on key performance metrics.
• Support market research and competitive analysis initiatives.
• Provide insights to improve campaign effectiveness and customer engagement.
