Job summary

WMFHA in Baltimore, MD seeks an experienced Leasing Consultant to support a dispersed portfolio of affordable properties. You will provide exceptional customer service, manage leasing leads, and coordinate move-ins across communities.

The role requires 1–3 years of leasing experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work day, weekend, and evening hours. Knowledge of Yardi and Section 8 housing is preferred, with the opportunity for commission-based earnings.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience as a Leasing Consultant
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Experience with Section 8 housing preferred
• Knowledge of Yardi preferred
• Excellent follow up and follow through skills
• Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally
• Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel
• Driver's license and ability to work between different nearby properties
• Ability to work day, weekend, and evening hours as required

Responsibilities

• Assists Community Manager with day to day operations of the properties
• Acts as first point of contact for all sales and leasing leads at the communities
• Coordinates all move in and move outs with site team
• Provides excellent customer service to residents and assists resolving issues
• Maintains knowledge and awareness of property competition, and other market conditions affecting leasing and operations
• Assists with the leasing and marketing of community
