Job summary

Related Affordable is hiring a Leasing Coordinator for Headen House in St. Charles, Maryland. You will manage day-to-day leasing activities including inquiries, tours, applicant qualifications, and lease file preparation in HUD/LIHTC/HPD-compliant processes.

You’ll log prospects in the PM system, support marketing and retention efforts, and coordinate open houses and resident events to drive occupancy and service quality.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in leasing, marketing, hospitality, sales or multifamily operations.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proficient in rent calculation methods per HPD/HUD standards.
• HS Diploma/GED; bachelor’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generate leasing traffic via tours, outreach and follow-up.
• Pre-qualify applicants and prepare accurate lease files per program requirements.
• Conduct property tours, open houses, and resident events to promote occupancy.
• Log activity and report leasing performance and challenges in the PM system.
• Provide outstanding customer service and collaborate on marketing and retention strategies.
• Prepare applicant files for move-in processing with Occupancy Specialist.
• Coordinate and host open houses and marketing initiatives.
