Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Leasing Consultant to join our team in Washington. You will collect deposits, process applications, show model apartments, and maintain a clean, welcoming office.

You’ll use sales and customer service skills to explain lease terms and community policies while delivering a high level of professionalism. Responsibilities include marketing outreach, following up with prospects and residents, maintaining files, and coordinating move-ins.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to remain professional and courteous in a fast-paced environment.
• Organized with attention to detail.
• Customer service experience preferred in a leasing role.

Responsibilities

• Collect a deposit and process future residents’ applications.
• Ensure the model/target apartments are ready for show and maintain a clean workspace.
• Maintain knowledge of lease terms, unit specs, availability, market conditions, and policies.
• Utilize customer service and sales techniques.
• Maintain contact with apartment locator services and local businesses for informational material.
• Conduct outreach marketing and shop surrounding properties.
• Develop and maintain resident retention programs.
• Create move-in resident files and assist with ongoing file maintenance.
• Report unusual circumstances regarding the property or residents.
• Handle resident requests and complaints courteously and efficiently.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct.
