Job summary

Fortis Property Management seeks a Leasing Consultant to lease apartments at Montrose Berkeley Lake and maximize rent while delivering exceptional resident service.

You will show units, quote prices, handle applications, and maintain an aggressive renewal program, leveraging software like Yardi, RealPage or AppFolio. The role values bilingual communication and a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Prior leasing/sales experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Proficiency with property management software.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Show apartments to prospects.
• Provide information to prospects via telephone and personal visits.
• Accurately quote prices.
• Follow up on all prospects.
• Thorough knowledge of the immediate market and all comparable properties.
• Thorough knowledge of the surrounding community.
• Ensure all necessary application paperwork is obtained from prospects.
• Provide superior customer service.
• Collect money (deposits, rents, etc.).
• Prepare and review leases for accuracy.
• Maintain effective and aggressive lease renewal program.
• Inspect apartments for readiness.
• Adhere to and proper implementation of Fortis Properties Management policies and procedures.
• Distribute move-in packages.
• Other duties as delegated.
