Nationwide Realty Investors, the real estate development affiliate of Nationwide, is seeking a Multi-Family Leasing Consultant with sales or leasing experience to join our team in the Arena District and Grandview Yard in Columbus, Ohio. You will greet prospects, qualify leads, present community features, process applications, and support residents with a focus on excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma.
• Experience: Prior leasing or sales experience required.
• Knowledge: Fair housing laws and state landlord-tenant law.

Responsabilités

• Handles phone inquiries and meets company goals for appointment conversion.
• Greets and qualifies prospects by covering all criteria.
• Inspects models and available units every day.
• Communicates related service needs to maintenance supervisor.
• Update availability report and process applications (credit check, rental history).
• Submits processed applications to Senior Property Manager for approval.
• Follows up with applicant regarding status.
• Demonstrates product knowledge to prospects and closes the sale.
• Secures new resident’s signatures on paperwork prior to move-in.
• Orients new residents to community.
• Answers questions about community, repairs, rent, rules, etc.
• Prepares lease and paperwork for input by Financial Administration Manager.
• May perform other responsibilities as assigned.
